Ariel Porat was born and raised in Israel. Post completion of his undergrad studies in Industrial Engineering at Tel Aviv University, Porat joined Teva Pharmaceuticals, where he held several positions in supply chain management. Later, Porat pursued his MBA at Insead, France, thereafter, joined Siemens AG and held a few positions in finance, both in Germany and in the USA in the healthcare division. Later on, Porat took a position in Accounting & Controlling in Austria, and 2 years later moved to Israel as CFO of Siemens Israel and of Siemens Mobility Israel. Post the Energy carve out decision, Porat was announced CEO of both Siemens Israel and Siemens Energy Israel, and a year later was promoted to his current position – Senior Vice President Hub Europe, in Siemens Energy AG. Outside of work, Porat enjoys tennis, surfing, running and acting class and is passionate about backpacking and learning new languages.
