The Warsaw Security Forum is one of Europe’s leading security conferences, devoted to transatlantic cooperation and focused on developing shared responses to common challenges, with a particular emphasis on the security of Central and Eastern Europe.

Organized since 2014, the Warsaw Security Forum annually gathers over 2500 high-ranking representatives of governments, international organizations, industry, think tanks, and civil society, coming from across more than 90 countries.

The two-day program is packed with high-level panel discussions, Chatham House Rule-based roundtables, and dozens of bilateral meetings, alongside industry presentations and the cultural program of the Partner Country – all designed to address most pressing political and military issues.

During the Forum, the Casimir Pulaski Foundation presents the Knight of Freedom award to an outstanding figure who has contributed to promoting the values upheld by General Casimir Pulaski, i.e.,freedom, justice, and democracy.

The Warsaw Security Forum also provides a platform for the New Security Leaders program, which amplifies the voices of the new generation of decision-makers and experts specializing in transatlantic relations.

Last but not least, female participants of the Warsaw Security Forum traditionally meet for a working breakfast and other events organized by Women in International Security Poland (WIIS), highlighting the importance of gender balance and equality in the international security dialogue.

Since its inception, the Warsaw Security Forum has been organized by the Casimir Pulaski Foundation, in strategic partnership with NATO and the National Security Bureau to the President of the Republic of Poland.

Founded in 2005, the Casimir Pulaski Foundation is a non-profit, non-partisan Polish-think tank that conducts research on various aspects of European and transatlantic security, with a special focus on Central and Eastern Europe.

The Foundation brings together dozens of international experts across various fields (foreign policy, defence, energy, democratic resilience) and publishes analyses that describe and explain international events, identify trends in the European and Transatlantic security environment, and recommend solutions for government decision-makers and the private sector.

The Casimir Pulaski Foundation has been ranked as the leading Polish Think Tank dealing with defence and national security in the ‘Global Go To Think Tank Index’ report for 2018, 2019, and 2020. Additionally, the Foundation holds the status of a partner organization of the Council of Europe.
