Diplomatic Partners Meeting
On Thursday, May 26, the Casimir Pulaski Foundation organized its annual Diplomatic Partners Meeting. With the participation of over 25 Ambassadors, it was an opportunity to present the most important information on the state of preparations for the next edition of the Warsaw Security Forum taking place on 4-5 October 2022.
The meeting attended by, among others, H.E. Ambassador Mark Brzezinski of the United States, and by H.E. Ambassador Andriy Deshchytsia of Ukraine was also an opportunity to discuss the themes and agenda of the Forum as well as the areas of cooperation with the Warsaw Security Forum Diplomatic Partners.
Since 2014 the Warsaw Security Forum is one of the leading European platforms devoted to transatlantic cooperation and focused on elaborating shared responses to common security challenges. Organized in strategic partnership with the National Security Bureau to the President of the Republic of Poland and NATO, the event each year gathers almost 1500 participants – among them Heads of State and Government, Ministers, world-renowned experts and Young Transatlantic Leaders.
The relevance of the Warsaw Security Forum has never been greater than it is in 2022. The 9th edition will be devoted to all aspects of Transatlantic security: defence, energy, cybersecurity, and resilient democracy… seen mainly through the lens of Ukrainian heroic defence against the Russian aggression on its territory.
The Warsaw Security Forum will be an opportunity to recognize the incredible bravery of the Ukrainian People, who in 2022 will be presented with the annual “Knight of Freedom” Award by the Casimir Pulaski Foundation. With Germany as the Guest Country, we are also anticipating an official Bundestag delegation and high-level German presence at the event.
