Cooperation of armament industries and their development in the Central and Eastern Europe region (CEE), as well as issues related to energy security, which evolves into the even more important aspect of the global security architecture, were disputed at the summit. Military representatives, decision-makers, high-level administration figures and experts from around the world debated on how to foster bilateral cooperation between states and non-state actors in the industrial field.

New technologies are the key element of economic cooperation between Poland and Ukraine which was mostly discussed at the IDES17. Thus, one of the results of the IDES17 was the “Memorandum of Cooperation” which was signed between Ukrainian and Polish companies on development and production of new technologies in the aerospace industry.
