The Polish Forum of Young Diplomats – is a nationwide non-governmental organization that brings together young people, students and graduates of a number of Polish and foreign universities, who have defined career ambitions of working in an international environment.

The vast majority of nearly 100 members of the PFYD are people with experience in national and international non-governmental organizations as well as, employees of the Polish public administration and the European Union institutions. The Gliwice plant uses state-of-the-art production systems. High quality of products is achieved with the environmental impact taken into account. For this reason the plant has implemented an Integrated Quality and Environment Protection Management System conforming to state-of-the-art ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 14001 standards.

Between its opening in 1998 and April 2015, it manufactured 2 million cars. Since September 2015 the plant is proud of producing the new Opel Astra V.
