Chelsea Michta is a Title VIII Central/East European Area Studies Fellow at the Center
for European Policy Analysis, where she is researching the policy options available to
NATO to strengthen deterrence along the Alliance’s northeastern frontier.

Chelsea is also a PhD candidate and Cambridge Trust Scholar in modern European
History at the University of Cambridge. She earned her MPhil from the University of
Cambridge and her BA from Amherst College, and has interned at the Center for
Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and
Freedom House.
