Stacy A. Cummings

Stacy A. Cummings has served as the General Manager of the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) since September 2021, where she has led the development of a new strategic framework to enhance the agency's role in multinational acquisition, support, and sustainment. Prior to this, she was a member of the U.S. Senior Executive Service and held the position of Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Acquisition. She also served as the acting Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment, overseeing acquisition, logistics, and the defense industrial base. Cummings has held senior roles in the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Department of the Navy, where she began her career. She holds a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, a Master of Science in Management/Information Systems from the Florida Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Logistics from Pennsylvania State University. She is certified in Program Management and Acquisition Logistics and has received multiple awards for her civilian service, including the Office of the Secretary of Defense Medal for Exceptional Civilian Service.
