Valentin Ene is a Law Graduate with 12 years of experience in export control regulations, international sanctions, and international control regimes. He specializes in compliance related to commercial operations and research security involving military and dual-use products. Since 2022, Valentin has been working at the Euro-Atlantic Resilience Centre (www.e-arc.ro), an organization established under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania. The Centre focuses on research, strategic analysis, and training programs in resilience. At E-ARC, he coordinates the Community of Interest in Emerging and Disruptive Technologies, and serves as the Head of Strategic Analysis, overseeing the Centre's activities in this domain. Valentin has organized numerous conferences, table top exercises and workshops on emerging and disruptive technologies (EDT) and has spoken at international events on topics such as biotechnology and artificial intelligence.
