She holds MA and BA in History from the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” and a Minor in Political Science. Daria is a graduate of a Prometheus Program in Transition Studies at EuroCollege in Tartu and the Interdisciplinary Individual Humanitarian Studies Program at the University of Warsaw.
She started her professional career as a journalist and foreign affairs columnist. In 2013 she joined the team of the Institute of World Policy, Ukrainian think tank, where she was doing research on the Eastern Partnership, Ukraine's foreign policy, and conflict resolution. She took part in the implementation of a number of projects, aimed at explaining the advantages of European integration, promoting pro-European reforms in Ukraine, and raising the awareness of the EU citizens about Ukraine. In 2017 Daria together with her colleagues from the IWP established the New Europe Center.
Daria is an author of a number of policy briefs and studies, including "Foreign Policy Audit: Ukraine-Austria", "Foreign Policy Audit: Ukraine-Georgia", "Conflict Settlement Practices around the World. Lessons for Ukraine" (in co-authorship), “Foreign Policy Audit: Ukraine-Sweden" and other.
