Bartosz Grodecki

Bartosz Grodecki is a graduate of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science at the University of Warsaw. He also completed the Postgraduate MBA Studies "Cyber Security Management" at the Faculty of Cybernetics of the Military University of Technology. He has comprehensive experience in diplomacy. From 2006 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he served in Polish diplomatic missions in Los Angeles, Malmö and Stockholm. From 2017, he was the Director of the Department of Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 2019, he was awarded the Silver Cross of Merit. At the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, he coordinates the activities of the Department for Citizenship and Repatriation, the Department for International Affairs and Migration, the Department of Permits and Concessions, the ICT Department and the Department for Civil Affairs and the Centre for Document Personalisation. He is also responsible for supervising the Head of the Office for Foreigners and the Polish Security Printing Works. He serves as the Coordinator for Polish-German Border and Regional Cooperation. Since 27 March 2020, he has also held the position of the Government Plenipotentiary for Repatriation. On 7 December 2020, he was appointed by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki as the Government Plenipotentiary for European Union Large-Scale IT Systems.
