Fei-Fan Lin
Deputy Secretary General, National Security Council, Republic of China (Taiwan)
Fei-Fan Lin is the Deputy Secretary-General of Taiwan’s National Security Council, a position he has held since May 2024. He is also a board member of the New Frontier Foundation, an official think tank of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), where he has been involved since January 2023, helping to shape Taiwan President Lai Ching-te’s 2024 presidential campaign platforms with a focus on foreign and national security issues. In addition, Lin was a board member of the Taiwan Foundation for Democracy from October 2020 to May 2024. Before his current roles, Lin served as the Deputy Secretary-General of the DPP from July 2019 to January 2023. His political activism began earlier in his career, as he was a student leader during the 2014 Sunflower Movement and the 2008 Wild Strawberry Movement. Lin holds an MSc in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in the United Kingdom, an MA in Political Science from National Taiwan University, and a BA in Political Science from National Cheng Kung University.
