Bobo Lo holds Master’s degree from the Oxford University and PhD from the Melbourne University.

He has worked as the Head of the Russia and Eurasia Programme at Chatham House and the Deputy Head of Mission at the Australian Embassy in Moscow.

His main area of academic expertise are Russian foreign and security policy and Sino-Russian relations. He is an author of various publications, including a book “Russia and the New World Disorder”, which was shortlisted for the 2016 Pushkin House Prize.

Mr. Lo works currently as an independent analyst and an Associate Research Fellow with the Russia/NIS Center at the French Institute of International Relations (IFRI).
