Gentiana Ramadani is an established journalist, social activist and researcher. She focuses on silenced communities and is fully engaged in the EU Project Management and Media Industry. The central focus of her work is usually found within successful projects in designing, implementing and evaluating processes, in the area of Gender Equality, Freedom of Media, European Integration & Social Cohesion and Local Governance.
Gentiana is graduated in journalism from the University of Tirana, Albania. She holds a Master of Science on Gender and Development Studies, from the University of Tirana, Faculty of Social Science, Albania. Currently she is a PhD candidate at University of Vienna, department of Communication. Her project is situated in media governance and explores the role of the public in Public Service Media in Austria, Germany and Greece.
She is the winner of the fellowship program from European Fund for Balkans (2012) to work at the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, department of civil society in Berlin. She is awarded with a full scholarship from Open Society Foundation on behalf of the Civil Society Scholar Award Program, academic year 2018/2019.
