Mr. Paweł Wojciechowski has been the Chief Economist of the Social Insurance Institution since 2014. He held high-level positions in Polish government, business and as visiting professor at Polish and American universities. From 2006 to 2014 he was minister of finance, deputy foreign minister, ambassador - permanent representative of Poland to the OECD. Earlier he was CEO of three financial market companies, including PTE Allianz Polska S.A. from 1999 to 2005. He graduated in economics from John Carroll University, finished his doctoral studies at Case Western Reserve University, received a Ph.D. degree in technical sciences at Systems Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
